Why should I use shoppable videos?

Video shoppers convert on average at a minimum of two to three times higher than shoppers who don't use video to shop. This is because video helps shoppers better answer any questions they might have about a brand’s products which can lead to faster purchasing decisions.Shoppable Videos

What types of videos should I use to make shoppable videos?

Any pre-existing or pre-recorded videos that you have work perfectly to become shoppable content. In fact, any short form videos you've produced for social media would be ideal.
A couple things to consider though:
- Is the video entertaining? (Is it fun? Does it inform your customers? Is the creator or talent getting the point across?)

What is the ideal length of a shoppable video?

We suggest shoppable videos be on the shorter side—ideally 30 secs to 1 min in length. Remember today’s consumer does not have time to waste and will swipe past videos that are too long. Make it short, snappy and fun.

Where should I host the shoppable content on my website?

The best place for a shoppable carousel of videos is front and center on your website—we’d suggest just below your initial hero image. For promotions like sales or product announcements, you can replace your hero image with a shoppable carousel. Shoppable videos can also be used on product pages as a way to enhance the customer experience to showcase or demo a particular product.Shoppable Videos

Can I reorder or rearrange my videos within a section? Can I change the videos that go in the carousel on my website?

Yes, with a simple drag and drop you can reorder videos within a playlist on your backend—which becomes a video “carousel” on your website. You can also change the videos at any time by opening the playlist and deleting or adding a new video. Changing out videos not only keeps the content fresh but it provides a great opportunity to test out what products are selling and which offers are working.

How do I publish shoppable videos on my website?

Setting up a shoppable playlist or carousel on your website is easy. First, upload the short form videos and tag the products for each video that you want to appear. Second, create a playlist and name it (for example: Holiday Toys or Summertime Fun). Third, add your videos to the playlist and save it. Fourth, copy the html code and paste it into a new area of your website. You’ll have to open up Shopify and determine where you want the video carousel to be. We suggest above the fold but you can also place the carousel on a product page too. Lastly, don’t hesitate to contact us if you need additional help or information regarding set up.Shoppable Videos

What is the process for going LIVE? How do I go LIVE? How long do I go LIVE for?

Going LIVE is easy. At the basic level all you need to do is enter your show name, decide on the date & time, upload a preview video and then promote it to your audience. Live shows typically last between 15 minutes to an hour—however, it depends what you are trying to do during your live event. For example, if you have an expert that is doing a Q&A with the audience, it may last more than 15 minutes and you want to encourage that type of interaction. If you have multiple guests slated to join, your show may run longer as well. If you’re just showcasing one or two new products and prefer to keep it short, that works too!Live Shopping

What are the best ways to promote my live show?

Promotion is key to a successful show. We encourage you to develop promotions across your social channels/outlets and begin to push them out one week prior to the event. We suggest continuing to promote leading up to the event—the day before the event and even 10 minutes before the show is supposed to begin. You can use posts on social media, email blasts and newsletters, calendar reminders and SMS. SMS notifications are a great tool to use 10 minutes before the event to remind your audience that you are about to go LIVE.Live Shopping

Are my products still shoppable even when the live show is over?

Yes. Every live show turns into a video on demand (VOD) that remains fully shoppable. When saved as a VOD, you can promote the link to the show over and over again and encourage those who missed the event to watch, share and shop!Live Shopping

How do you measure the impact of a shoppable or live video? What types of analytics do you provide post-show?

We provide an analytics dashboard within the Revo app for your shoppable and live videos that tracks useful data such as:

What are my billing options?

We offer a 30-day free trial to new users who register with us. After the trial, you will be charged $299 per month or 5% GMV of transactions—whichever is larger. Charges are imposed monthly starting at the beginning of the first month once the trial period ends. Unless otherwise specified in the order, subscription fees are based on monthly periods that begin on the subscription start date and each monthly anniversary thereafter. If for some reason the platform doesn’t work for my business model, how can I cancel?
